Prepare For Success

“It’s not the will to win that matters – everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” ~ Paul Bear Bryant

Success is rarely accidental. There are the fortunate few who manage to win the lottery, or randomly go viral on social media, but those occurrences are more the exception than the norm. Intentional success requires discipline, focus, tenacity, and effort. This is what sets apart the winners from the wishers. A casual “if it happens…cool…if it doesn’t…cool” type of effort will not suffice. You must have a “losing is not an option” type of mentality. A “by any means necessarytype of attitude. Everyone desires success in some area of their lives, but not everyone is willing to do the work to obtain it. Don’t let this be you. Prepare for success. You were blessed with intelligence & talent for a reason. Don’t let it go to waste.

“This is what the past is for! Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see.” ~ Corrie Ten Boom

Psalm 37:23 states: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Every challenge you’ve faced…every obstacle you’ve overcome…is a part of His divine plan to prepare you for what’s next. It’s human to wonder why you’re going through a storm in your life. What’s the purpose? It normally isn’t until you’re in the middle of your next when you realize why you went through what you experienced. It was preparation for an unforeseen future. Both your successes & failures strengthen you for the road ahead. So, adversity should not be considered an attack because it goes hand-in-hand with success. Life is equipping you with the tools necessary to overcome the unexpected hurdles littering the road to the life of your dreams.

“Prepare your mind to receive the best that life has to offer.” ~ Ernest Holmes

Expect to be blessed. Believe it. Receive it. Possessing an attitude of expectancy will enable you to be open to God’s best. Expect to be loved. Expect to be healthy. Expect to be prosperous. Expect to be successful. Why? Because you’re worth it. Allowing yourself to feel unworthy potentially leads to self-sabotage. You’ll find a way to push away the blessing. Don’t allow insecurity to talk you out of your breakthrough. You’re deserving of all the good life has to offer. Don’t allow those negative voices of doubt to prevent you from living an abundant life. Instead of talking yourself out of it…whatever “it” is…ask yourself what you want your next to be. Once this is determined…make the effort to make your dreams a reality. Your next will determine your hurdles. Be confident in knowing you’re equipped for the battle. If you’re willing to put in the work…and believe with everything in you that you’re deserving…the best that life has to offer can be yours.
